Location top notch! Was a rainy weekend so we used the umbrella a lot! Loved the comfy bed and the togo coffee cups came in handy. We took advantage of being able to easily take a train to DC (weekdays you can take it right from Frederick, weekends drive south to the Gaithersburg station). Loved this cute little town, we cant wait to visit again for the next Keys game.

The Mellow was a lovely place to stay in Frederick. It’s very clean and everything within the rental is comfortable and well thought out. I really enjoyed the office space and the kitchen offerings. Everything and more than what my wife and I needed for our stay. The property is a bit removed from downtown, but it’s worth it for the peace and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

The Mellow has everything you might need and more. The furnishings and accessories feel curated, not thrifted. From the moment you walk in the door its comfortable. Matthijs is proof that truth in advertising still exists. The ceilings are lower but my 6'3" husband did just fine. We did hear a few emergency vehicles, but we slept peacefully. It is walkable - 0.9 miles to our furthest point, Carroll Creek. For me, it was an enjoyable walk down memory lane. The stairs are steep, but we managed suitcases just fine and we are not kids. This was a wonderful, clean place to recharge after busy days. Having responsive hosts was the cherry on top! Thank you.

the Mellow was a 10/10 stay for is. beautiful interior, such fun, mid century modern vibes. the furniture was super comfortable, and it was a fun surprise to see they provided Netflix! they also had some snacks, shower steamers, and laundry soap available which was a welcome addition, and the hosts are SUPER responsive. they checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and had so many fun local reccomendtions. overall great stay and we will be rebooking if we visit Frederick again!!

The house is in the perfect location to everything in Frederick’s Market St. The inside was clean, comfy, and well decorated. Jennifer was very nice and responsive. Will definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our 2 week stay at the Mellow. It was in a perfect location for visiting our family, friends, restaurants and shopping in the area. The Mellow was very well equipped, the king bed was extremely comfortable and the hosts were easily accessible with any needs that we had. We hope that we’ll be able to stay again in this Historic and Hip AirBnB.

Beautiful and well equipment place. Great location with easy access to Market St. Hosts are wonderful - very responsive and super flexible. Highly recommend this place and will stay here again during future trips to Frederick

Amazing Airbnb! I stayed for 2 weeks for a work trip. They really had everything you could think of to make it a comfortable stay. I didn’t have to get anything from store except groceries. Nice and quiet. Walkable to a bunch of restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

If you're ever visiting Frederick and want to stay at a place that feels like home - please book this space. Along with the excellent experience from our hosts to the location of the home, it's definitely one of the best experiences my group and I had. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wants that relaxation and walking distance to restaurants + shops! We can't wait to book again when we return.

I enjoyed my stay at Matthijs’ place and it was exactly as described / shown in the photos! Great place to stay if you are working remotely while in the area or exploring downtown. I would definitely book again!
